Today we are off to do the Edinburgh Castle tour and visit the old town, and walk up the Royal Mile.
The castle is so dominant in the town, almost everywhere you look you can see it, sitting on top of an imposing rock base. The Edinburgh skyline is like no other I’ve ever seen, there are so few high rise buildings and anyone trying to build a high rise has a fight on their hands with the heritage folk. So far it’s the heritage crowd 3000, high risers nil.
So after a day of old world culture we’ll rock up to Murrayfield and grab our seats to see OASIS for a bit of a contrast. But is it such a contrast?
We pick up our rental car tomorrow at high noon then head up to Inverness for a couple of days to visit Culloden and to catch that gosh darned Loch Ness monster that everyone else has been too lame to find.

Crystal and I want pics of the lochness please
